Today K and I started our day with week 13 day 1 of the couch to 10k training program. We made it 5.33 miles in 56:11. We are excited to complete the program and run our first 10k.
This afternoon we had the Running of the Bulls 1k race.
It worked like flag football and had people on skates taking your flags and when you lost your flag you were gotten by the bull.
All of us lost our flags in the first 15 seconds because the runners and skaters started at the same time. But, we completed the run anyway with a time of 4:33.
I am not sure if we will do this again but we now have a best 1k time.
