June 21st training run

Today we set out to do week 11 day 1 of the couch to 10K app.  It was a little warm but not terrible.

This run was a 5 minute warm up walk, then run for 17 minutes walk for 1 minute, and end with a 5 minute cool down walk.

G quit 0.18 miles into the warm up walk because his knee was bothering him.  Tomorrow he won’t run either so it can heal.

K quit 5 minutes into the second run.  He did keep walking and I paper him twice.  Ok I passed him the second time with under a minute left of the third run and he decided to join me again.

I made the whole thing!  I ended up with 6.27 miles in 1:04:17 so not a bad pace considering 13 minutes of that was walking.

The boys didn’t want to do the selfie thing because they felt like they had bad runs.  So I took an after shower selfie lol.
